[Fellowship Award Photo]The Trillium Fellowship Award (established 1996)
In appreciation for the outstanding volunteer service the farm has received over the years from so many, the Sampsons decided to recognize these special individuals who have been generous in their support of the farm, its activities and its horses. This award acknowledges extraordinary deeds of animal husbandry, farm involvement and unsolicited assistance in time of need. A delicate beautifully etched glass artwork award, crafted in Arkansas and mounted on a solid oak base, featuring a stylish horse at liberty, is presented each spring to one of many deserving individuals. Also presented at this event are "In Appreciation" awards. These lovely etched glass medallions honor certain people who have offered their assistance as well. It is the Sampson's way of saying thank you.


**Join the Golden Stirrup Club and participate in our many social activities.  All youth riders at the farm are automatically enrolled in the Clip Clop Club.

2008 Events:

Snow N Show Winter Amateur Show  Not just a horse show, but a training and educational show.  Eligibility:  riders who have not earned more than three life-time first place ribbons at a recognized show in the division they are entering.  Special Driving Division classes offered for harness enthusiasts.  Lunch-hour demonstration, refreshments by the Trillium Clip Clop Club and Golden Stirrup Club members.  Shows are oPEN TO THE PUBLIC  Email for entry form: trillium@tmhf.com
    
Winter Workshop Series:  Hands-On   A great series of workshops to break up the long winter months.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The Trillium Golden Stirrup Club presents: A Night at the Races!  *Members only event.

Slumber Party in the Barn (date to be announced)  A special night for all Clip Clop members. 

Adult Summer Camp (date to be announced)  A series of fabulous weekend end camps are on the drawing board for 2008.

The Golden Stirrup Club presents: Sunrise on the Trail A series of Sunday sunrise hacks in the forest.  Catch the beauty and stillness of nature at its best.  Rides will be followed with a satisfying breakfast at a local eatery.  Join us for Sunrise on the Trail.  We will be hitting the trail at 6:00 a.m.  Overnight pasture board is available for guests who wish to bring their horse. Overnight camping on the grounds is available.  If you prefer, Bed and Breakfast accommodations can be arranged.  If you would like to come, please e-mail trillium@tmhf.com   Overnight pasture and camping available. Camping & Pasture $10, Breakfast at current prices. *Members only event.

The Golden Stirrup Club presents:  Tack Shop Trekking (TBA)   *Members only event.

The Golden Stirrup Club's Moonlight Rides  The calendar marks December 23, 2007 as a night casting a full moon.  In the spirit of the season, harness up for a brisk trot across the snow frozen fields.  Snuggle into a lap robe as the cool winter's night blushes your cheeks creating a cheery pink.  Hear the jingle of the bells announcing another winter solstice.  Outriders are also invited to saddle up.  Afterwards, warm your spirits with a cup of hot sweet apple cider and feast on delectable sweets.  Join us in merriment in the cozy comfort of the Horse and Hound Lounge.  Other Winter Moonlight Dashes are scheduled, weather permitting.  Sleigh or Ride out at 9 pm.  *Members only event.

The Golden Stirrup Club presents:  A Royal Affair  A group booking is planned once again.  Catch the glitter, pomp and pageantry of the world's greatest agricultural fair, the Royal Winter Fair and Horse Show.   *Members only event.

Parents/Partners Feel the Ride Night  (December 1, 2007)  A fun night where the spectators in the family get to sit on a saddle while their child or spouse gives them a brief lesson in equestrian skills.  *Members only event.

The "HORSE" Program  New!  A free service offered by the Trillium Equine Complex for under-privileged children referred to the farm by registered charitable organizations.  A three month complete riding and mentoring program offered for sponsored candidates.  Join us for HORSE!  H for horse, O for opportunity, R for responsibility, S for self-esteem and E for excellence.  ONLY AT TRILLIUM!
